ACCESSORIZE

A couple of years ago, the Best Husband Ever™ gave me a wee digital point and shoot for my birthday. It brought the joy of video into my life (what I like to think of as long photos) that spawned 10 seconds. The following year, the purchase of an $89 Sports Jacket extended my photo opportunities, allowing me to take one of my own camera along to places that I wouldn't normally consider.

It's a waterproof housing for my Sony Cybershot DSC-T5 that's good to a depth of 10 feet (underwater) that protects the camera from all manner of environmental indignity. The maiden voyage found us floating down the Stanislaus River (replete with water guns) with nary a drop touching the camera. More recently, Sports Jacket accompanied Derek and I snorkeling in Anaeho'omalu Bay, Hawaii (complete with Green Sea Turtles).

If you find yourself in a wee bit of a photographic rut, take a peek and see what accessories are available for your camera. The manufacturers web site should give you an idea of what there is and Amazon will give you better prices.
