BLENDER

Spending the day on a wander with other photographers is both wonderful and dangerous. Wonderful in that you get a sense of how your fellow photographers see things. Dangerous? On the wallet.

George, Deborah, Erin and I spent a few hours wandering around Fitzgerald Marine Reserve photographing trees that could easily stand in for those that line the way to Mordor.

Talk quickly turned to cameras (not surprising given our endeavours) and Erin mentioned that the Pinhole Blender peeps have released a new, smaller 35mm model (there's a 120 version as well) -- the Pinhole Blender mini 35.

I've been home for a few hours and I find myself itching to buy the mini. I'd love an affordable 35mm pinhole option and the Blender images are quite lovely.

For more things pinhole, check out Without Lenses, a quarterly journal that Erin publishes.
