ABSENT I'm not sure if you've ever had that feeling that you've been somewhat absent from the goings on of our own life. It's July, seven months into 2007 and I'm not quite sure what I've accomplished. This isn't to say that I've being slacking off, in fact, much has been accomplished, but in what is mostly a digital life, there's nothing too tangible that I can hold and raise aloft (less Norma Rae and more Rocky). Course, "deep thoughts" such as this might be burbling upward from the peace of having a few days off that didn't involve stepping into a long metal tube and throwing onself 39,000 feet into the air for multiple hours. There's nothing more lovely than vacationing at home. 07/ 8/2007
