FOR THIS I WENT TO ART SCHOOL Insomnia and I have been infrequent companions for much of my adult life. My biggest fear is lack of sleep given that I quickly become impossible. While most would classify After Hours a comedy, it's pure horror and my worst nightmare: never being able to go to bed. In the wee hours of last night, while your were dreaming of sugar and spice, I was madly productive, installing the necessary software that would enable me to sync my new Palm 680 with my computer. This is most helpful if you want to be able to add groovy applications as I do. The biggest differenct that I've noticed between the 650 and 680 is the brightness and contrast of the photos. There's also some weird "feature" that resizes photos that are rotated to portrait when you upload them to your favourite photo sharing site. I don't know what's up with that. ![]() My research let me to a paint application that will allow for some photo tweaking before upload. What I hadn't anticipated was the most excellent doodle benefit. That's Bug in Buena Vista (the location of his spots are pretty bang on). I'm thinking of doing a series of drawings of famoust paintings from memory, starting with Christina's World because it creeps me out so much. 01/20/2007
