KIBBLE + BITS

With NaBlaPoMo gone, I find myself once again becalmed and tongue-tied (or would that be finger-tied). It's not I've spent life trapped in a Skinner box since last we met. Not at all. Of late, I:

Enjoyed the beauty of Pan's Labyrinth (and as a bonus, discovered that I don't know how to spell labyrinth -- I keep wanting to write labiarynth)

Laughed at the following joke told to me by my seven year old nephew: What do they call a town in space? A comoooonity!

Realized that I left the load of towels and tea towels in the dryer at the laundromat the night before leaving for Las Vegas only upon returning from same five days later. Hello, Target!

Celebrated a friend's birthday with a bottle of Dom Perignon and have decided that I must do my best to make this the new standard (I hear it's cheap at Costco)

2007: the tyranny ends! Resolved to get over the fear of my Leica and end the tyranny of straight hair in my life.

Was sandwiched between two scary salesmen on the monorail in Las Vegas and showered by their forced guttural deal making laughter. I'm going to do my best never, ever to attend CES again. The gadgets are cool, but the rest is terrifying.

Finished the scarf I began back in November. It's made of handspun sari silk, though I've decided to tell people I raise and shear muppets in my spare time.

Holiday Project 2006: Handkerchiefs Realized a project that I wanted to do for a number of years and handcrafted handkerchiefs for a few of my favourite people.

Have been fantasizing about buying my very own rabbit costume (to be worn at times other than Easter).
