TURKEY WEEKEND THOUGHTS I need to make Chieka a Toy Poodle suit (after watching a Dog Show Thanksgiving day) Nikon needs to be getting of their derriere and update the drivers and application for my negative scanner (switching back and forth between old and new computers is getting.... old!) I admire those who decided to share Ulysses with the world (I'm not sure what I would choose to read aloud on Haight Street while standing on a milk crate) Trying not to feel guilty upon deciding that my three desert island movies are crap (Close Encounters, Jaws and Star Wars) Enjoying the last few days of the Dooce November 2006 masthead (Princess Chuck is our only hope) I bought a modest piece of art by Daria Tessler at the current Giant Robot show, Dinosaur Party (it's a lovely printed bird) The Da Vinci Code doesn't improve upon second viewing (someone should chase Mr. Hanks arround with a pair of scissors) Where will we go when the current fashion fascination with the 80s ends? (I'm drawing a blank on the 90s) Not that I'm complaining -- having survived the 80s once, I'm standing firm against the current onslaught. I only felt slightly guilty scooping up the latest People at the gym (wedding photos, people!) Our new electric blanket can't arrive too soon (winter, such that it is in San Francisco, has arrived!) Efforts to make a "La Belle Dame Sans Merci" Neighborhoody for myself resulted in a $67 effort (too rich for me) Christmas trees now on sale in Cole Valley (before December 1st? This must be a sign of the impending apocalypse) 11/26/2006
