MAKE STUFF WITH YOUR FABULOUS PHOTOS

There's holiday gold in them thar photos you've been taking. Here are five ideas for things you can make (or have made) for the 2006 gift giving season:

hchamp.com cd calendar1. Desk calendar: If you have or have access to a colour printer, pick up some good quality card stock at any office supply store. It's easy to create a lovely monthly calendar that fits in a jewel case with the help of this handy fd toy.

2. Wall calendar: What better gift than 12 of your favourite photos of your children, your pets, or your world to share with loved ones? Your local copy shop is likely to have some calendar option available and there are a variety online options as well: Café Press, Lulu, QOOP to name a few.

Moognets - 6: Attach 3. Moo! $20 for 100 fabulous cards = endless possibilities: Kristy is making Moo cards with her children on them for "brag" sets to adorn holiday gifts. Meg is making magnets or Moo-gnets (think stocking stuffers). Photo: Meg Pickard.

4. Postcards: If you make prints from your digital snaps or get prints back when your film is developed, put aside your favourites and turn them into postcard sets for friends and family. I found PhotoPostos at my local art supply store. They can be a wee bit expensive, but the ease of use saves time and the finished look is professional.

Spread (February Print Club selection)5. Keepsake books: From something small and simple like a QOOP Minibook to something more elegant like a Blurb Photo Book, a keepsake book to commemorate a birth, a wedding or a sensational trip, is a lovely gift to leave under the tree for someone special.
