BE-BOOP BE-BOOP I think I've just done something incredibly stupid. Our TiVo is already biopolar as the viewing habits of Casa Chawazek can be grossly overgeneralized as "drawn" (cartoons -- him) or "accents" (including period pieces, stuff on BBCA or Mystery -- me). These two world collide slightly as we share an appreciation for the Subliminal Reassurances of Procedural Dramas. The moments where we can't remain in the same room? Drawn Together (me), The Young Ones (him). The stupid bit? I two "thumbs-upped" On the Riviera. I'm not sure if or how Danny Kaye will impact the delicate peace that we have negotiated. I'm hoping for a best case scenario where I can watch The Court Jester 24/7 ("The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon; the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true" ). Worst case scenario? Smoke pouring out the back of the machine? I'd prefer that to a Barney marathon. 05/13/2006
