I'd like to thank all of the fabulous, generous rock stars who kept the home fires burning here at hchamp.com during the worst of my time out. David Michael Murphy, Gayla Trail, Erik Wåhlström, chrys, Keith Kin Yan, Fredrik, Justin Ouellette, Alison Hladkyj, lucas j. shuman, Derek Powazek, Myla Kent, Catherine Jamieson, Joe Cunningham and Bob. How am I feeling? My mind is much clearer given the lack of pain meds and I'm no longer hobbling along like I have a giant stick stuck up my ass. And I can wear pants! Actual pants! You have no idea how exciting this is. I have some residual nerve pain that I'm hoping will dwindle in the coming days. Given that the average recovery is 3 - 5 weeks, I have some time yet. And how was shingles? Worst. Pain. Ever. What is shingles? Very. Disgusting. Here's a somewhat unrelated question: If NASA can put man on the moon, why in the hell can't they aid pharmecutical companies in developing medications devoid of constipation side effects. Or rather, if you take two medications that both cause constipation, shouldn't they cancel each other out and give you the runs like Marion Jones? 11/16/2004
