Everyone loves a parade, or at the very least, I do. I participated in two Canada Day parades in Ottawa, the first with Lee Lee. We word red tshirts and white pants and sat on the BC float and waved. It rained later in the day and red dye from my new shirt ran onto my pants. The next year, Claire made me a wonderful clown suit and I ran down the parade route giving out balloons to small children. If you're ever having a bad day, buy balloons, dress as a clown*, and give them out to small children.** That's the sum total of my parade life.

* Happy clowns, people.
** Small but not too small. Too small and they freak out.
