I did something this weekend that I've not done before: I took the pinhole camera down to Market Street. The blocks between Van Ness and Powell are favourites of mine, despite the seediness, though not some place I typically would want to linger. Pinholing takes some setup and those moments provided an opportunity for some to engage in conversation (or just stand and stare). It was a decidedly different experience.
