My annual checkup revealed an abnormality with some aspect of my thyroid. Further tests confirmed the original result and today I'm heading over to Cal-Pacific for a series of Radio Iodine Uptake Scans.

The worst part (as it currently stands) is having to miss my morning cup of tea. I do love my tea. I gew up in a household with the seemingly bottomless cozied pot of tea and have never developed the taste for coffee. Keep your fingers crossed that I can move onto the cold caffeine (aka Diet Coke) after the first test, or things might get nasty.
