Claire, Owen, Eamon and Hugh sent me a wonderful bouquet of white peonies for my birthday. We had two peony bushes at the side of our house on Dunrobin Ave. and the smell reminds me of Ottawa. San Francisco may smell like jasmine, but the peonies are taking me back to the days when people thought I was saying "penis bushes." Happy birthday to me!
